Writing.
If I have to write by hand;
I use a pencil and rubber for corrections (more
rubber than pencil!)
Before I had my coloured glasses I used a green
pen.
Have
a look at fonts and try different
coloured text.
My very poor spelling causes me to stop and
think about the spelling of nearly every other
word even short words (no or on?). By the time I
have worked out the spelling I've forgotten the
rest of the sentence! Spell-checkers on
computers are nearly useless for me, as I don't
get near enough for them to work out the word I
am trying to spell. They check the spelling, but
I need help with spelling, so voice recognition
software, Dragon NaturallySpeaking, is ideal for
me.
Writing clearly is not a major problem for me,
though it is slow and tends to be untidy unless
I use a grid of black lines underneath my
writing paper,
see diagram.
You can print these grids from;
